Fotolog Crawler
Example NetworkI've been working on a crawler/analyser for Fotolog.net. It allows for collecting social sensitive information from the system and analyse social relations and network properties. Programmed in Java and using considerable amounts of SQL. This has been done to help (and with the help of) Raquel in her Ph.D. thesis. For personal use only (for now). (2006)
Co-link
Co-linksThe Co-Link project, created by Alex Primo, is a new concept for cooperative link creation on the web. It allows for multiple links to be embedded inside one single regular link. Any visitor can then add their own relevant links. The initial proof of concept was programmed by me, using Ajax on the client side and PHP on the server side. (2004)
Agroscan
AgroscanAgroscan is a tool that allows the digitalization and analisys of hydro-sensitive paper cards, used for drift analysis in spray systems (such as agricultural aircrafts). The software controls the whole process, from digitalization to the creation of technical reports. Involves several image processing techniques and statistical analysis. Made for Agrotec in OO-Pascal (Delphi environment), with bits of x86 Assembly programming. New versions still in development. (1999).
AgendaSMS
SMS messages can be sent from the provider's websites, but usually this involves having to type and remember the target's cell phone number. In order to overcome this, I created a system that could store numbers and names, and would send SMS messages directly from the system's web page. Later restrictions and security changes on the providers' systems made it harder for the system to work, so I dropped the project. Made mostly in Javascript and ASP. (2002)
/lfv
